SPRING EVENT: "Hey, I Can Do That Too!"

This Thursday night (March 3rd) GRACE will host their Spring Event....It will be soooo much fun!  We think that this could be one of the best yet!  It will be a "JAM" packed night of information for how to simply and "cheap-ly" make those ordinary things into "SPECIAL"...We want to show you that you do not have to own expensive gadgets to make neat and unordinary things for your home or for someone else.  It will be a time to share and encourage one another so that we can spread kindness to others in our community and around the world.  We don't want to spoil the surprise of what's to come but the video gives a hint of some of what we will be covering.  Invite your friends and family...
and join us as our creativity goes UNDER CONSTRUCTION!
Demostrators:  Jan Hart, Stacey Short, Teresa Vaughan, Donna Simmons, Natalie Pinson

Apples of Gold

Grace Women's Ministries has just sponsored a six-week mentoring class called Apples of Gold, for young married ladies/mothers. We met each week in a different home of one of the  ladies mentoring.  The night began with a cooking demonstration, then a Bible study, and finally, all eating the meal together that was prepared in the demonstration.
The lessons studied came from Titus 2:3-5, which says that the older women should train the younger women to love their husbands and children, to be self-controlled, pure, busy at home, kind, submissive to their husbands, and hospitable.
We all learned that our homes belong to God and that no matter what the size or condition of our home, we are to share it with others and use it for God's glory.
The first group of young ladies to participate in Apples of Gold were Stephanie Barrow, Katie Cooper, Amanda Henderson, Chris McCulloch, Soleta Norris, and Amy Warren. The mentors were Jane Dillard, Bea Morris, Margaret Phillips, Donna Pinson, Laura Weaver, and Renee' Anderson.
We all were so amazed at the fun we had and the relationships that developed during this process, not to mention the delicious recipes we acquired.
In the Fall we hope to begin another class with a new group of ladies.  Stay in touch to hear more information about this rewarding experience.
